1. Start at the swimming pool complex of the Terme Čatež Spa and follow the main road.
2. Take the right turn at the roundabout, and turn right again at the traffic lights to the Sava bridge and continue to the next roundabout on the pavement and turn right.
3. Before a church in the late-Baroque style in the village of Mostec turn left and after 300 metres turn right following the priority road, across the Gabernica Stream and the railway track.
4. Turn right to the priority road and continue to the village of Gabrje.
5. In the village there are three turn-offs to the right within 80 metres. Take the third turn-off to Mali Obrež. You will come to a winding road leading through the village and forest.
6. Turn left on the priority road to Kapele.
7. In Kapele, turn left towards Brežice. You will then descend to the forest of Dobrava. In the middle of the section, cross the main road and continue to Globoko.
8. Turn right to Bojsna and continue on the main road.
9. At the house number 39 on the right side of the road, turn left and descend to a narrow asphalt road.
10. Turn left and continue straight to the pass in the woods.
11. Turn left and start ascending in the direction of Brezje. Before the Church of St. Urh, there is a 9% grade.
12. 300 metres after passing the church, take a sharp turn to the right and start descending.
13. Some 100 metres after the Sadjarstvo Plevnik board sign standing on the left side of the road, turn right and descend a steep serpentine road. Be careful! When the ground levels, go past a farm and then turn right to the main road.
14. Turn left on the main road leading through the valley of Dramlje to Vitna Vas.
15. At the roundabout, continue straight on the gravel road.
16. Turn left to the asphalt road. Go straight on at the roundabout, past Blažova gorca .
17. At the Y-junction take a slight right turn. You will come to a partly gravel section.
18. Turn right and start descending through Janeževa gorca straight down to Bizeljsko.
19. Take a right turn on the main road and through Bizeljsko.
20. At the end of the village, turn right to Pišece.
21. At the end of the ascend, turn left. After a slight ascent, the route starts descending towards root cellars.
22. Take a slight right turn on the gravel road in the Kelher root cellar direction. Descend to the valley of Hudine.
23. Turn left back to the asphalt road.
24. Turn right on a busy road and continue straight. Be careful!
25. In Župelevec, turn left for Kapele.
26. In Kapele, turn left for Rakovec and continue through Jereslavec to Rakovec.
27. In Rakovec turn right after the fire station. You then continue on 4 km of gravel road along the edge of Jovsi. After you come back on the asphalt road continue on the primary road past the fire station in Veliki Obrež and past a chapel in Dobova to the junction, turn left to the bicycle lane and straight to the junction with the main road where you turn right through the underpass.
28. Continue on the main road straight to Mostec.
29. In Mostec, you can go to the Sava ferry boat (left) or straight on to the roundabout in Trnje.
30. Turn left at the roundabout, and again left at the traffic lights by the Sava River and again left at the roundabout by the motorway.
31. The tour ends at the Tourist Information Centre.
    
    Short route: From the Terme Čatež Spa, you can cross the Sava River by ferry boat when it operates. Following the route description, start your tour in Point 3 where you cross the main road at the church. At Point 7, continue straight for 1 km through Kapele to the turn-off for Rakovec where you turn right at Point 26 and start descending. Continue through the points that follow.
