Brežice has always been closely intertwined with cinema. Throughout history, they have served as a splendid backdrop, contributing to the emergence of several renowned actors, directors, screenwriters, and producers. Thus, Brežice is the ideal location for the European Film Festival.
The festival will take place from August 28th to August 31st. Most events will be held at the Posavje Museum Brežice, where on Wednesday, August 28th at 7:00 PM, the festival will open with the screening of the surprise film in the Knights' Hall. Entry to the event is by invitation, which will be given to the first 50 subscription buyers.
Over the following days, screenings of all 10 films will take place. The final evening, on Saturday, August 31st at 10:00 PM, will mark the festival's conclusion at the Youth Center Brežice with the presentation of the Audience Award for the Best Film and concert of the group Funk Parker.
Tickets for film screenings can be purchased at the Posavje Museum Brežice starting from August 1st.
SUBSCRIPTION PRICE: €35 (valid for viewing 9 films from August 29th to August 31st, 2024, and includes the opening night on August 28th for the first 50 subscribers).
Subscription purchase is available until August 23rd, 2024.
INDIVIDUAL FILM TICKET PRICE: €5 for screenings from Thursday, August 29th to Saturday, August 31st, 2024. Tickets can be purchased in advance or on the day of the screening starting from August 1st, 2024.
