The Pleteršnik Home is located in the village of Pišece. In this house, the Slovene linguist and author of the first Slovene-German dictionary, Maks Pleteršnik was born in 1840 and died in 1923. The home was thoroughly renovated in 1993 and 1994. It now has three rooms, all  equipped with the furniture and possessions of Maks Pleteršnik, as well as his books. In the vineyard cottage, visitors can view or buy literature on Pleteršnik as well as tourist souvenirs. A stone pillar with his relief adorns the courtyard. The Pleteršnik Home is listed among Slovene museums and the home as a whole has been declared a cultural monument.

The Pleteršnik Homestead is located in Pišece. It is a birthplace of Slovenian linguist, author of a Slovenian-German dictionary, Maks Pleteršnik (1840–1923).

In 1993 and 1994, the homestead was thoroughly renovated. Today, three rooms feature furniture, personal items and books of Maks Pleteršnik. In the vineyard cottage, visitors can buy tourist souvenirs and brochures and other material about the author. The yard boasts a stone column depicting the Pleteršnik's profile. The Pleteršnik Homestead is also included in the collection of Slovenian museums and is declared a cultural monument.
