"Discover the town at the confluence of the Sava and Krka rivers through numerous stories that give the town its unique character. Love is the common thread that connects and represents the landmarks of Brežice's old town center. Through stories, we encounter different types of love that give meaning to an individual's life and delve into the significance of love. We don't just learn about the facades of buildings; we experience them personally through narratives, and some we also visit.

The path of love or love stories connects 10 Brežice landmarks; the stories are either true or have evolved over time as part of folklore in the form of legends, making each town special and unique.

The guided tour offers insight into the buildings, revealing unique stories, and tasting dishes and drinks that are part of the offerings of the Brežice Selection Collective Brand/Selected.

Experience itinerary:

• Gathering at the starting point, Brežice Youth Center, with free parking available near the building
• A walk through the town park and presentation of the destination with an emphasis on sustainable operation
• A stroll to the old iron concrete bridge over the Sava and Krka rivers. Along the way, a stop at the chestnut grove by the drinking fountain, where visitors can refresh with water.
• Most love stories are hidden behind the mighty walls of Brežice Castle, home to the Posavje Museum Brežice. As part of the experience, visitors will tour the museum and the love stories written by time. The tour concludes in the breathtaking Knight's Hall with a surprise.
• Within the embrace of the castle walls, visitors will indulge their creativity and craft jewelry, which will remain as a memory of the experience.
• Lunch in the castle premises, outdoors on the terrace in good weather and indoors in the castle cellar in case of bad weather, guests will indulge in gourmet delights with lunch made from seasonal ingredients accompanied by top-quality local wine or natural fruit juice/water.
• After lunch, the journey continues with a local tourist guide among the magnificent buildings of the old town center, which will reveal their rich stories through the eyes of love.
• The highlight of the experience will be in the most idyllic city building that inspired creators to create the Love Path – the Water Tower. Guided tour through the 6 floors of the tower all the way to the top, where there used to be a water tank, today offering a beautiful view of the surrounding area.
• Perhaps the view will serve as inspiration for writing a genuine, antique love letter? When was the last time you received or wrote one? Modern technology has pushed traditional mail and letters to the sidelines, but we assure you that a letter written with a fountain pen on paper will make a special impression on the beloved person you dedicate it to.
• The experience concludes at the tower's viewpoint with a dessert from a local pastry chef and top-quality local sparkling wine or natural fruit juice. The products are included in the Brežice Selection Collective Brand/Selected.
